It has been some time since Ed or Reub contributed to this body of knowledge known as Very Little Science. We hope you are edged.
The rare and beautiful snow flower appeared today.
This trumpet-shaped beauty is related to the lily family.
Snow flower gardens are difficult to maintain and only enjoyed for a very short time.
As you can see, snowflowers are pollinated by ladybugs.
The ladybugs are waiting for the opportunity to do their job.
There are many types of snow flowers. Pictured here is the Spiky Snow Flower, which also bloomed today.
The prickly snow flower beneath its prickly exterior has a kind and caring heart. This colony of spikies lovingly takes care of an adopted oak leaf. The rescue sheet was on the way to some destruction before it was picked up and shows its gratitude in every possible way.
Indeed, snowflower plants are the unsung heroes of the leaf rescue world.
Snow flowers are divided into two types. This is the long haired variety.
Here we see the short-haired snow flower.
Caution should be exercised around the tarantula snow flower, which is designed to surprise attacks against intruders usually aimed at their head or neck.
